FCMtesting Ltd. is a Danish, independent company based in Odder, south of Aarhus. We specialize in testing, documentation and consulting on food contact materials (FCM).
Since 2016, we have helped manufacturers, importers and distributors ensure that their products comply with applicable legislation - both in Denmark and in the rest of the EU.

Food contact materials include everything from packaging and production equipment to kitchen utensils and containers. These materials must comply with a wide range of EU regulations, national orders and government guidelines.

Testing and consulting on food contact materials

FCMtesting performs accredited testing and analyses of food contact materials such as plastic, paper, metal, glass, silicone and ceramics. We always follow the latest legislation and ensure reliable results.

Our tests include:

  • Simulation of contact between materials and food
  • Assessment of materials’ suitability for food contact

As certified under DS/EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017, our test results are recognized throughout the EU.

Documentation and Declarations of Compliance

Experience and expertise

Per Holst Hansen, founder of FCMtesting ApS, has over 25 years of experience with food contact materials. He holds a master’s degree in chemistry, physics, and biology from Aarhus University and has a background from the Danish Technological Institute and Eurofins.
