We act as the natural link between supplier and manufacturer – translating complex requirements into practical solutions and providing honest advice on the necessary tests.
We have helped hundreds of companies with effective and legally required testing of food contact materials. We are one of the only laboratories in Denmark that focuses exclusively on testing and approving food contact materials.
We perform a wide range of tests, all of which are covered by our accredited management system based on ISO 17025. This means that we work systematically, documented and in full compliance with international standards – regardless of which analysis is performed. If we use subcontractors, we require that they are also accredited to the same ISO standard. This ensures high quality and full traceability – even when parts of the analysis are performed externally.

What do our customers say?
“We contacted FCMtesting when we needed to have our ceramics with our own developed glazes tested and approved for food contact.
The collaboration has been a really good experience – with qualified guidance, quick execution of migration tests and help with preparing a declaration of conformity.
The result is that we can now sell our ceramics with peace of mind and at the same time continue to develop our glazes.”

2. Collection and assessment of documentation
We obtain the relevant technical documentation from you or your supplier. We then review the material and assess whether it complies with legislation—or if additional data is required.

3. Performing the necessary tests
If test data is missing, we ensure that the necessary tests are carried out. This may include migration tests or other analyses that demonstrate your product is safe for food contact.

4. Preparation of the Declaration of Compliance
Once all documentation and test results are in place, we prepare the Declaration of Compliance you need to document your product’s legal compliance.

5. Approval and delivery
You receive the declaration for review and approval. Once everything is verified, we deliver the final documentation, so you are ready to market your product.

6. Ongoing support and updates
