Testing of Food Contact Materials
Accredited testing and approval
FCMtesting er accredited efter ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
FCMtesting ApS is based in Odder, south of Aarhus, and helps companies throughout Denmark and the EU with testing and documentation of food contact materials.
We perform a wide range of tests, all of which follow our accredited management system based on ISO 17025. This means that we work systematically, documented and in accordance with international standards – regardless of which analysis we perform. If we use subcontractors, we require that they are accredited to the same ISO standard. This ensures that the quality and traceability are top-notch – even when parts of the analysis are performed externally.
At FCMtesting Ltd. we offer accredited testing of food contact materials, advice and documentation, so that your products always comply with applicable EU legislation.
We act as the natural link in the value chain – from supplier to manufacturer – and translates complex legal requirements into concrete actions with clear messaging and momentum.
We only test what is necessary and advise honestly, so you can achieve documented security with accurate and relevant tests.
Our professionalism is always practical, understandable and usable, and we take into account both the material and your specific situation, so that the advice matches your needs.

From contact to complete documentation – FCM•testing handles the entire process

1. We clarify your needs
You contact us by phone or email and provide information about your product. We review your requirements and identify which documentation and tests are necessary.

2. Collection and assessment of documentation
We obtain the relevant technical documentation from you or your supplier. We then review the material and assess whether it complies with legislation—or if additional data is required.

3. Performing the necessary tests
If test data is missing, we ensure that the necessary tests are carried out. This may include migration tests or other analyses that demonstrate your product is safe for food contact.

4. Preparation of the Declaration of Compliance
Once all documentation and test results are in place, we prepare the Declaration of Compliance you need to document your product’s legal compliance.

5. Approval and delivery
You receive the declaration for review and approval. Once everything is verified, we deliver the final documentation, so you are ready to market your product.

6. Ongoing support and updates
If regulations change or you launch new products, we can help update your documentation and carry out new tests.
